R&D Council

The Research, Development and Innovation Council ("the Council") is an advisory body to the Government of the Czech Republic according to the R&D Act [Code number 130/2002 Coll.] on the support of research, experimental development and innovation from public resources and amending certain related acts, as amended. The Council is the successor of the Research and Development Council of the Government of the Czech Republic, which was established according to the previous R&D Act [Code number 300/1992 Coll.].

The members of the Council assemble at the meetings taking place once a month where they discuss and approve the materials related to the fulfilment of the tasks of the Council. Between the meetings, the Presidium of the Council meets at least once a week.
